Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We understand that situations arise in which you must cancel your appointment. In such situations, we respectfully request that you provide us at least 24 hours’ notice, when possible. This will allow us a better opportunity to fill your appointment with another patient in need of dental care.
When cancellations are received with less than 24 hours’ notice, the appointment slot will usually not be filled. Your time is valuable and ours is too.
Please note that we reserve the right to charge a fee, that is based on the type of appointment missed, that will not exceed $50, for any appointment that was cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time or for an appointment no-show.
Of course, we understand that illnesses, true emergencies, and winter weather often do not allow for 24 hours’ notice. We are reasonable and take these things into account. Our goal is simply to maximize our available treatment time for the dental needs of our patients.
